With a gross salary scheme, you can have your education paid for through an agreement between you and your employer. Here, your gross salary (before tax) is reduced in exchange for a benefit, such as paying for your education.

This means you can get your education covered without paying tax on the portion of your salary used for the education, making it financially beneficial for you.

It doesn't cost your employer any money because you pay for it yourself, but it comes out of your pre-tax paycheck, which saves you a lot.
