Peter Palvig

 

Peter Palvig is our Head of Education and one of the key figures setting the standard for academic quality at PTinstitute. With over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer and 11 years as an educator, he has helped hundreds of aspiring trainers get off to a strong start.

He’s passionate about seeing people grow – not just professionally, but personally as well.

Peter specializes in strength training and muscle building (hypertrophy), and has a rare talent for making complex theory both understandable and engaging. He always goes the extra mile to ensure that you, as a student, feel seen, heard, and well-prepared for the everyday life of a personal trainer.

 

 

Kasper Rabjerg Hansen

 

Kasper Rabjerg Hansen is a dedicated personal trainer, physiotherapist, and educator who is passionate about making a difference in the Danish fitness industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports and Health and combines strong academic knowledge with many years of hands-on experience in both physiotherapy and personal training.

Kasper works daily with clients at all levels – from beginners to elite athletes – and is known for his ability to communicate complex training principles in a down-to-earth and motivating way. His teaching is always rooted in the real-world life of a personal trainer: How do you help your clients progress – and how do you create lasting results?

At PTinstitute, we greatly value Kasper’s extensive experience, academic depth, and his ability to inspire the next generation of personal trainers.

 

Jesper Friis

 

Jesper Friis is an experienced personal trainer, psychotherapist, and master coach with a special expertise in human behavior, habit change, and goal setting. He has completed over 10,000 hours as a personal trainer and currently works as a gym manager and personal trainer at Sporting Health Club in Copenhagen.

Jesper has a unique ability to understand what drives people – and what holds them back from reaching their goals. At PTinstitute, he teaches how personal trainers can help their clients develop healthy, sustainable habits and overcome mental barriers.

He is known for his engaging and grounded teaching style, and his ability to make theory truly applicable in practice. Through coaching, communication, and behavioral insight, Jesper teaches future personal trainers how to create real change – one client at a time.

 

 

Semir Sirbubalo

 

Semir Sirbubalo is an accountant, entrepreneur, and educator with a sharp understanding of the financial aspects of being self-employed. At PTinstitute, he teaches personal trainers how to take control of their finances – in a clear, practical, and approachable way.

With many years of experience advising self-employed professionals in the fitness industry, Semir guides our students through everything from taxes and VAT to budgeting, bookkeeping, and accounting. He provides the tools you need to run your own business confidently and professionally – whether you’re just starting out or getting ready to launch.

Semir’s teaching is hands-on, practical, and tailored to the everyday reality of personal trainers, where your time should be spent on clients and training – without losing track of your finances.

 

Maria Murphy

 

Maria Murphy is a specialist in online coaching for personal trainers and teaches how to build strong client relationships, deliver real results, and run a sustainable online business. With several years of experience as a coach and mentor – including working at Lenus, one of the leading companies in online fitness – she brings valuable industry insight to her teaching.

She’s passionate about helping personal trainers find their unique voice and create genuine value – even through a screen.

Maria teaches with presence, energy, and plenty of practical tools, giving you the confidence to take the leap and succeed as an online coach.

 

Rasmus Sichelkow

 

Rasmus Sichelkow teaches practical training at PTinstitute, with a special focus on strength training, mobility, and the real-life interaction between trainer and client on the gym floor. With a solid background as a self-employed personal trainer and owner of his own business, Rasmus blends theory with many years of hands-on experience.

He knows how to build lasting client relationships, deliver sustainable results, and make everyday life as a personal trainer work in practice. His teaching is engaging, down-to-earth, and full of real-world examples that prepare students for what lies ahead.

Rasmus has a clear goal: to give you the tools, confidence, and reflections you need to stand strong as a trainer – both professionally and personally.

Amalie Harries Andersen

 

Amalie Harries Andersen teaches online marketing and social media at PTinstitute. She holds a degree in marketing and currently works as a Social Media Manager at Bodylab, one of Denmark’s leading companies in supplements and sports nutrition.

Amalie has her finger on the pulse when it comes to digital visibility and brand building – and she knows exactly how personal trainers can use social media to attract, engage, and retain clients. Her teaching is based on real-world cases and current trends, giving you tools you can apply right away.

She’s passionate about making marketing accessible and relevant – and shows you how simple strategies can strengthen both your brand and your business online.

 

David Claré Palm

 

David Palm teaches the course "Life as a Personal Trainer – Success in Coaching and Sales" at PTinstitute. With over 12 years of experience as a personal trainer and 15 years as a self-employed professional, David knows exactly what it takes to succeed in a field where both expertise and business skills must go hand in hand.

He is the co-founder and CEO of the fitness chain Sporting Health Club, one of Denmark’s leading gym chains with the highest number of personal trainers attached. His deep industry experience allows him to teach from the reality of both new and seasoned trainers – and how to build a business that is both sustainable and meaningful.

In this course, David provides students with practical tools to build their own fitness business. Topics include marketing, client management, networking, social proof, pricing strategies, and personal branding. The focus is on what works – and on giving students a sharp understanding of the commercial side of being a trainer.

David’s teaching is honest, direct, and always grounded in real-world experience – because he knows it takes more than strong technical skills to truly succeed as a personal trainer.

Kasper Danborg

 

Kasper Danborg is the co-founder of PTinstitute and serves as a guest lecturer with a focus on exercise physiology. He has been educating and training personal trainers since 2006 and is recognized as one of the most experienced instructors in the industry.

Kasper holds a degree in sports physiology from the University of Copenhagen, is a former strength coach for several top-tier Danish handball teams, and was the founder of Fitness Institute – Denmark’s largest school for personal trainers to date.

In his teaching, Kasper combines evidence-based knowledge with practical experience from both the sports world and the education sector. His approach is holistic, focusing on how trainers can best integrate training expertise, coaching, and business insight – enabling them to deliver results for their clients while building a thriving personal training business.
